Minutes for Annual McCarron HOA Meeting, Monday, November 9th, 2015 at Living Word Church

Meeting began at 7:08 PM.

Board Members/Attendees:

Rubi Fellows, Karl Logan, Andrea White, Mike Wissbaum

Less than 10 residents/homeowners attended.

Additionally, Cedar Management representative Scott Hines was on hand to answer questions and add clarity on HOA legal questions/procedures

Resignations:

• Rubi Fellows introduced board members and spoke about impending resignations of long-time member and President Andrea White, whom we thank for her long and diligent service. Mike Wissbaum also announced his resignation, and absent board member Rob Carter will be resigning due to an impending move.

Wrap-up of Last Year; looking forward to new projects next year:

Karl Logan spoke on previous year’s successes and failures,

• the impact of the drought/rainfall on lawn violation enforcement
• the drive to acheive a level of lawn compliance in the Upper neighborhood
• delays encountered in implementing a refurbishment of the entrance due to unforeseen circumstances in board membership and commitments.
• decisions made with regard to the lack of space for so-called “amenities” to be constructed

Also detailed were:

• plans to refurbish mailboxes in the coming year. This will be an HOA project, paid for by funds, and will seek to repaint and re-number many old, faded, numberless mailboxes.
• plans to form a committee to study the possibility of putting a walking trail around the neighborhood.

Budget

Mike Wissbaum spoke about the McCarron budget for the coming year.

• The board will be reducing dues this year to $185.00 per household.

Elections/New Members

• Chris Treadaway was appointed by the board
• John Anderson was appointed by the board
• No quorum was reached.

New Committees

Volunteers were requested for a committee to get quotes, plans, designs, etc, for the front entrance renewal. A Matching Neighborhood Grant will be pursued. Prospective members to be confirmed are:

• Cindy Connelly
