Meeting called to order at 7:05pm by HOA President – Brett Osborne

-NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME WATCH UPDATE: Scott Orlinski and block captains gave an overview of crime reported in and around the neighborhood since August 2010. Residents were informed that crime was down 14% in the Hickory Grove region. Also, residents were told that police patrol has increased in our area and a difference in response time is quicker if someone calls 911. Each block captain gave an overview of the crime reported in their areas. Neighbors were encouraged to always report suspicious activity. Residents were given info needed to receive text messages concerning crime reported in the neighborhood: text “mccarron” to 35863 from your cell phone. Copies of the March 2011 McCarron Crime Watch newsletter were available. Residents were also asked to update their household info if needed and to submit the form to their designated block captain incase of an emergency.

-NATIONAL NIGHT OUT: The next neighborhood National Night Out is scheduled for August 2nd at 7:30pm. Its purpose is to raise awareness and create a sense of community.
